This monument is based on the legend of the Prophet Noah associated with Nakhchivan and is one of the region’s oldest religious-cultural symbols. Historical sources record that it was rebuilt in various periods. The tomb carries traces of both the local belief system and the ancient urban culture of Nakhchivan.
