Built in 1162, this mausoleum is one of the earliest and most perfect examples of the Nakhchivan architectural school. It stands out for its octagonal structure and its simple yet deeply symbolic ornament. The monument reflects the formative stage of Ajami Nakhchivani’s work and is considered one of the starting points of medieval Azerbaijani stone architecture.
